I'm new to the Blogging World...

...but, I'm not new to quilting!  I've been quilting for many years.  I opened my shop in Terlingua, TX about 10 years ago.  Terlingua is just outside the entrance to Big Bend National Park, so most of my business comes from people visiting this area.  Our busy season is just about to start.  Most people choose to visit this part of Texas during the cooler months of the year, so we are busy from October to April.

I have several quilt artists who send me their quilts to sell.  I have everything from Super King size to wall hangings and throws.  Of course, down here, the southwestern quilts are always popular, but I have a variety of styles and color choices.

I also carry handbags, home accessories like placemats, table runners, hot pads, pot holders and crocheted wash clothes.  I have paintings and photographs by artists who live here either part time or full time. All of it showcases the beautiful scenery found in our region. 

So, why blog?  Well, I'd like to tell you a little bit more about this area.  Maybe you'll decide you want to come visit!  I'd also like to showcase some quilts, offer them for sale and make some new friends.
